Hello, I read castle swimmer and just reached the final episode (for now!). The story really grew on me, as did the characters. It is far more complex and sweet than I first anticipated and it has really matured over time. What a wonderful and magnificent project! I love stories of the sea (in the sea..on and around the sea). At first i was afraid i was too old for this story, but when the evil witches were introduced I was like: yesss! But also kappa's and siren's romance is compelling to me. So yes, awesome project, very excited for the continuation! And props in general. A huge project like this is insane to pull off. Kudos from a 29 year old ocean lover and fellow creative

I really appreciate you giving it a read! It’s almost hard for me to look back at the first season because I’ve changed so much as an artist and storyteller since then but I have a lot of amazing readers who have been following this story and I really want to finish it and give it an ending all of you will enjoy.

Also for myself, while I do yearn to work on new projects I really want to finish Castle Swimmer first. It’s precious to me in a lot of ways so I want it to be a completely work and then later have it available as printed editions for anyone to buy :)

I’ve kind of just accepted that this comic is something that has changed and grown with me so I’m less bothered by the changes in art direction between seasons and such 😂
